Rakesh Jhunjhunwala passed away early on sunday morning at the age of 62. He was also known as the “Indian Warren Buffet” due to his investment skills. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala entered into the stock market with just Rs 5,000 in 1985. He had an estimated net worth of $5.5 billion which makes him the 36th richest man in India, according to Forbes and 438th richest man in the world, so far in 2022. He graduated with a B.Com degree from Sydenham College and after that he enrolled at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Some of his biggest investments were Titan, CRISIL, Aurobindo Pharma, Praj Industries and NCC etc. He was also very passionate about India’s progress. His latest investment was in low-cost airline Akasa Air which started flying operations last week
